Heavyweight fighter Juan Adams is now a free agent after being cut from the UFC following three consecutive defeats.
Adams took to his social media accounts to confirm the news of his release saying that he has made adjustments to improve but those adjustments came too late.
Adams got his shot in the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series with a knockout win over Shawn Teed. He then went on to knockout Chris de la Rocha before suffering three losses in a row to Arjan Bhullar, Greg Hardy and most recently, Justin Tafa.
Adams isn’t going to quit on his career as a professional MMA fighter and aims to keep improving in his time away from the UFC. At 28-year-old, Adams is still a young heavyweight and has time to hone his craft and make it back to the big leagues.
Before his last fight with Tafa, Adams made the move to Jackson Wink MMA to train at the high-level gym and develop his skills but believes the move came too late.
Adams also posted another message on his Instagram account thanking fans, UFC staff and his new coaches for helping him during his UFC tenure.
