Popular Frenchman, Morgan Charriere, will get his shot at the interim featherweight title as reigning champion, Mads Burnell, is currently unable to compete.

Charriere is coming off of his biggest career win as he dominated and then stopped Dean Trueman in the third round at Cage Warriors 109. Charriere is now 2-1 since joining Cage Warriors, dropping a majority decision on his debut before picking up a split decision win over Lewis Monarch and the aforementioned knockout win over Trueman.

Charriere’s knockout win over Trueman was a huge statement, stopping a former Cage Warriors featherweight champion and winning the Cage Warriors Knockout of the Year award in the process. Lewis Monarch, another one of Charriere’s victories, was also a former featherweight title challenger.

The bout is set to take place on the Cage Warriors 113 show in London and Charriere’s opponent is yet to be announced. Charriere will be one of two Frenchmen competing in title fights on the show as currently Cage Warriors flyweight champion Samir Faiddine is set for his first title defence against Luke Shanks.
