Fastest Submission In Bellator History

Aviv Gozali recorded the fastest submission in Bellator history against Eduard Muravitsky on the undercard of Bellator 225 on Saturday night.

Gozali came rushing out of the corner and jumped straight into an imanari roll and secured a heel hook to finish the fight in just 11 seconds. Here is a full clip of the finish posted to DAZN’s Twitter account.

Gozali is only 18-years old and has just three fights on his professional MMA record. All three have been first round submission finishes in the Bellator cage.

Scott Coker took to Twitter to confirm that the submission is, indeed, the fastest submission in Bellator history.

Gozali appears to be a very talented prospect that Bellator will be looking to build upon. It will be fascinating to see how his grappling skills transition as he begins to fight higher levels of opposition.
