Bellator have announced that middleweight prospect Fabian Edwards gets the co-main event slot at Bellator London as will take on Costello van Steenis.

Edwards puts his undefeated record on the line yet again as he takes on a highly touted Dutch fighter in van Steenis. Edwards is currently 9-0 in his professional MMA career and is most recently coming off a split decision win over Mike Shipman at the previous Bellator London show in November last year.

Van Steenis also boasts an impressive 12-2 record in professional MMA and has experience headlining a Bellator card as well. His last outing came against John Salter in the main event of Bellator 223 but van Steenis came up short losing a unanimous decision. Therefore, the Dutchman will be looking to bounce back from his most recent loss by halting the undefeated Fabian Edwards train.

Van Steenis also trains out of MMA Vlaardingen in the Netherlands and regularly trains with Gegard Mousasi who fights for the Bellator middleweight title against Douglas Lima on 9th May. Van Steenis’ last victory came back in June with a TKO win over Edwards last opponent, Mike Shipman.

The Bellator London card also has some other high-profile names on the card being headlined by the grudge match between James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor and also including the MMA debut of former rugby star James Haskell.
